Account Foundations

  • Technical lead for Partner Migration, re-architecting registry partners from per-registry records to account-level relationships across Rails, React/TypeScript, and native iOS; decomposed the effort into 172 tickets and drove product/design decisions with PM and design partners.
  • Designed and executed the production data backfill for the migration: 499,417 relationships created across ~1.9M records examined with zero errors, via an idempotent, resumable job run in 25 bounded segments.
  • Started as the sole engineer building the account-level partner experience across web, mobile web, and iOS, then scaled the project to a team of four as scope grew, mentoring engineers through onboarding and code review.
  • Carried dev-support/on-call rotation, troubleshooting production incidents (500s, race conditions, Sidekiq lock contention) and driving root-cause fixes as a CODEOWNER across registry surfaces handling sensitive account data.
  • Built a Claude Code slash command that ran adversarial, automated PR reviews, weighting higher-complexity PRs and surfacing initial complexity concerns to the reviewer, helping engineers keep pace with PR volume; adopted by other engineers on the team.

  • Built a spend-based promotion system (buy X / get Y) with Contentful-backed models, event-driven eligibility evaluation, and automatic Shopify discount code issuance/revocation, enabling Customer Support to manage codes without engineering involvement.
